Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack on a 2019 Audi A5
Question:
We have a KUAT NV 2.0 bike rack that is on our SUV with two-inch trailer hitch receiver. I would like to use the bike rack on our 2019 Audi A5 Sportback Is the best set up to use the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4inch to 2inch Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5inch Rise - HT5R, on Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch - C11448 ? Kuat NV 2.0 is about 56 lbs and my bike is 30 lbs therefore wanted to validate setup and weight. Thank you!

To use your Kuat NV 2.0, part # NV22G, with your 2019 Audi A5, you can indeed use the Curt Hitch, part # C11448, with the Brophy Adapter, part # HT5R. I've linked to a video installation of the hitch and video review of the adapter.
There is one thing that you need to keep in mind, though.
When using an adapter like this, the hitch's capacity (both trailer weight and tongue weight) is cut in half. So, even though this hitch has a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds, the adapter will only give you 100 pounds to work with.
This is okay for your application because the NV 2.0 at 56 pounds and the bike at 30 pounds fall under 100 pounds.
