Question:

i am looking at the draw tite front mount trailer hitch for a 2018 ford e 450. want to mount a bicycle carrier and have room with bicycles and to to fold up carrier without using a extension. when not in use. Can you tell me how far the hitch pin hole would be in front of the bumper or behind the bumper?

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 65053 is a great option for using a bike rack on the front of your 2018 Ford E-450. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the forward-most part of the bumper is 2".

If you don't already have a bike rack, I recommend the Thule Doubletrack # TH92BJ. This bike rack can carry two bikes and folds up easily when not in use. For some bike frames you might need an adapter bar for use with the platform-style rack. The Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 is a great option. It extends from 24-3/8" to 33-1/4" in length and it's vinyl-coated hooks prevent scratches or other damage to your bike frame.
