Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2012 KZ Sportsman Classic 19BH

Question:

I have a 2018 Hyundai Santa fe with a 3.3 6 cyclinder that can tow 5000 lbs. I bought a 2012 KZ Sportsmern Classic 19bh. The gross weight of my trailer loaded is 3500 lbs and the loaded tongue weight loaded is 425 lbs. My coupler size is 2inch and I have electric brakes. I have a 3 inch frame on the camper. I took it to an rv dealer and they said I couldnt put a weight distribution hitch with anti sway on the trailer because of the 3 inch frame of the trailer. My trailer is more than 50 weight of my vehicle so I I assumed I needed a WD hitch. My back tires about an inch and quarter when I hitch the vehicle to the trailer and they said the only thing I could do was to beef up my rear suspension on my Santa fe. Is there a WT hitch I can use on my Santa fe or can I only add to my suspension? Thanks,

I looked up pictures of your 2012 KZ Sportsmern Classic 19bh and I can't see any reason a weight distribution system couldn't be used as it appears to have a very standard A-frame. What I would recommend is the Reese Kit part # RP65509 as it has has a tongue weight range of 200 to 600 lbs and then the bolt on brackets part # RP58305 since you have the wider 3 inch frame.
