How To Fix Dead Battery On 2013 Ford Edge After Being Towed

Question:

I want to use a Negative Battery Disconnect because my battery keeps dying durign flat towing my 2013 Ford Edge. Do I put the car into Nuetral befor disconnecting the battery first? Thanks.

If you are having issues with the battery dying during transit on a 2013 Ford Edge then I recommend adding a charge line, the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25. That said, in regards to the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect part # RM-766, I cannot recommend this. There are certain instances in which there does need to be power reaching devices on the vehicle while in tow. If you wish to use the battery disconnect you would need to do so on your own accord and I could not offer advice unfortunately.

If you are already using the battery charge line please let me know and I will see if we have any other solutions.
