Can Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution Head be Used Without Spring Bars

Question:

Curt 17500 weight distribution hitch used on boat trailer without spring bars. Assume head position #1 is the default position when using with a trailer that can not accept spring bars? Does this slight tilt of the ball Backwards in #1 position cause any negative effects For towing the Boat trailer ?? Again, no spring bars attached

There won't be any negative effects if you are not using the springs bars and just the head when towing your boat trailer with the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # C17500.
