I spoke with my contact at Superchips and found that the estimated miles per gallon gain with the Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner is 10 to 15 percent when tuned for the Mileage XS Save tune. This gain is not guaranteed as it can be affected by many factors.
The Superchips tuners are tested on stock vehicles without any modifications. If you have any other engine or appearance modifications such as larger wheels, then the that will effect the fuel efficiency. Another factor that will effect the fuel efficiency are driving habits, even if the truck has the Mileage XS Save tune, aggressive driving will decrease your fuel efficiency. Gas mileage typically decreases over 60 mph and with aggressive accelerating and braking.
