Recommended Rear Suspension for 2020 Ram 2500 That Sags When Towing

Question:

When I hitch up my 5th wheel the rear end of the ram goes down 3 inch and the front goes up 1/2. first question is is that still in the safe range or do I lose some stability with controlling the front end? Second question what would you recommend? Would I be okay with adding timbren spacers? What is the recommendation

The sag you are experiencing when towing with your 2020 Ram 2500 is normal due to the weight that has been added to the rear of your truck, but you definitely want to add rear suspension enhancement to even it out. The reason is, with the sag, the front tires aren't making as much contact with the ground as the weight has been transferred to the rear wheels, and that can cause issues with traction and handling when towing.

So suspension enhancement is exactly what you need and I recommend going with the option you mentioned, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR2500D.

These Timbrens - which are a fit for your 2020 Ram 2500 - will work because they will take the brunt of the added weight from your truck cushioning the load and stabilizing it. As an added bonus, they are really easy to install and do not require any maintenance whatsoever. Our customers who have used the Timbrens regard them extremely highly, with well over 2,000 reviews to date giving them a nearly 5-star rating,
