Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Weekender Cargo Box

Hi I have an older thule weekender with gas struts. Im not sure what model number the box is but I need to replace the struts. Do you know if I can replace it with one of these newer style hinges?

None of the newer lid lifter hinges are confirmed to fit an older Thule Weekender cargo box. The only thing that may work is something that is similar to the discontinued replacements, which is the Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH14936.
Other replacement parts for the Weekender cargo box have been discontinued as well, so your other option is to replace your cargo box, and you can still get one that is quality but doesn't break the bank like the SportRack Horizon # SR7011.
