Is There a Hitch for a 2019 Subaru Forester that is Rated for Use with Weight Distribution
Question:
I see that this hitch is not rated for a weight distribution system. Does that mean that: 1.. Absolutely, do not use a weight distribution system with this hitch, or 2. The manufacture simply did not bother to get the rating and there is no problem using a WDS with this hitch, or 3. The Foresters GVTW rating is only 1500 lbs and TW is 350 lbs so because of this a WDS would never be needed? Ive never owned a trailer before but have use a friends trailer with previous vehicle but never a WDS and no experience with one.. Thanks....

If our hitches state they are "not rated for weight distribution" that means you can't safely use a WD system with the hitch. For the 2019 Subaru Forester we do have the Draw Tite hitch part # 76271 which is rated for weight distribution though. For how light the tongue weight capacity of your 2019 Subaru Forester is at 150 lbs I don't think you'd really benefit from using a system while staying safely under that number.
So if you liked the EcoHitch # 306-X7391 over the Draw Tite design that would be what I would recommend you go with.
For trailer wiring then the Tekonsha kit part # 118467 is what I recommend as it's the easiest to install and is our most reliable option.
