Will the Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers RM-2460 Work on my 2020 Jayco Pinnacle Fifth Wheel

Question:

I have a 2020 jayco pinnacle 5th wheel tandem 7k axles 36kpts that I would like to install shocks to dampen the bouncing of my trailer. I have spring under axles and it looks like this kit will extend the shock below the wheel into the tire area. Basically the 5th wheel has 7 leafs per pack and kicks the mounting plate for the lower shock mount really low. Will this set up rm-2460 clear the road if my tire blows and Im sitting on the rim? Or are there other options for spring under axel set ups that will clear the road in case of a flat?

Yes the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers part # RM-2460 and the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks part # LC281281 are designed to where it does hang below the axle slightly but not so far that there would be any concern of it resting on the ground if you had a tire failure. The size of the rim itself is much larger in diameter than the shock bracket hangs down.
