How to Manually Operate a Slide Out for a Trailer

HOW WOULD YOU GET SLIDE OUT WITH OUT POWER I CAN NOT GET THE SLIDE OUT OR TO MOVE AT ALL TKS . PS. THE YEAR 1989 GOLDEN FALCON FOURTH EDITION

There is a chance that your trailer has a manual override built into it. I would recommend you check with your manufacturer before you try the following steps.
The first thing you are going to want to do is find the slide-out motor. The motor is located beneath the slide-out room. Refer to the owners manual for the exact location. Next, you will want to remove the brake assembly from the motor. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that connect the brake assembly to the motor. Do not lose the screws. Set the brake assembly aside.
Find the crank extension. The crank extension is located either on the outside or the inside of the frame. Refer to the owners manual for the exact location. Attach the crank handle to the crank extension. The crank handle comes with the trailer. If the crank handle is not available, use a wrench or socket and ratchet to turn the crank extension by hand to extend or retract the slide-out.
Reattach the brake assembly to the slide-out motor. Replace the screws and securely tighten each one with the screwdriver. The brake assembly prevents the slide-out from moving.
