How To Use the Draw-Tite Cargo Carrier Light Kit With a 7-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
My dirt bike blocks my brake/turn lights when its on my hitch carrier. Is there a light kit I can install on the carrier? My hitch has a 7 pin trailer connection. Thank you!

The etrailer License Plate and LED Tail Light Mounting Kit for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Item # e98943-44LED can be used with a 7-way trailer connector but you'd need an adapter, the Adapter 7 Pole to 4 Pole part # 47345 will work well. The other option would be to hardwire on the Pollak Trailer Connector part # PK12706. These will be your only options since none of the cargo light kits will come with a 7-way.
