What Size Pipe Does Valterra RV Sewer Termination AdapterValterra RV Sewer Termination Adapter Fit
Question:
Hi. I am plumbing my travel trailer black/brown water drain to my septic system. Is the diameter of the T 1029 such that the 3inch PVC pipe can be glued inside of it? 3 inch PVC has an outside diameter of 3.5 inches. Also, if it can be glued, is standard PVC cement appropriate for the job? I am using 3inch white PVC pipe schedule 40 type. I have already purchased Valterra Rotating Pipe Adater T 1027, thinking I can connect the adapter earsinch to my RV fitting, then screw a threaded 3inch PVC coupling to the adapter, and then glue the 3inch PVC coupling to a 3inch PVC pipe. The T 1029 would connect to the other end of the PVC pipe, then I would use standard flex hose to connect from the T 1029 to the septic pipe fitting. Thanks

The # T1029-1 is designed to fit into a 3 inch diameter pipe and glued in place with ABS solvent cement like # A05-0303 and the other end fits a 3 inch lug fitting.
