Roof Rack for 2016 Lexus GX 460 for Carrying Sears X Cargo Box

Question:

I have read the questions by others who have a 2016 Lexus GX 460. I have the factory raised roof rails. Most of your answers seem to recommend the Inno. I want to use a roof rack box. I have an old Sears Xcargo box thats in great shape. Is the Inno system the best rack if I want to use this box? I would probably need to have rails that adjust front to back so that it fits the predrilled holes for the brackets.

Since the older Sears X Cargo Boxes sometimes use smaller u-bolts than what can fit on the wider sized aero bars that are becoming more common your best roof rack option for your 2016 Lexus GX 460 would be a square bar Inno roof rack part numbers # INB127, # INTR, and # INTR134.

The bar spread of this rack should be compatible with your box but you might be able to drill new holes in the box worst case scenario.
