How To Fix 1" Gap After Installing Timbrens On a 2000 Ford F-250
Question:
I just installed this part on 2000 F250. There a large gap between the unit and the axle. Timbren says on a heavy truck like mine there should be little to no gap. I have over an inch. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of the intall.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR150SDE which is a fit for a 2000 Ford F-250 is designed to produce around 1/2" - 1-1/2" gap. It will still work to reduce sag/squat with a gap but not till the threshold of the suspension is reached. Some prefer more of a buffer than others since the ride can be rougher when engaged. Nevertheless, you can use the spacer part # A25723-90AH00 for 1" or part # TA25722-90P00 for 1/2" to close the gap.
