Hitch for 1986 Chevy K10 Pickup Truck without Rear Bumper

Hello, I just purchased a 86’ Chevy k10 pickup. The rear bumper was remove for that clean look. Can I still install a hitch? Thank you

As long as the truck doesn't have a roll pan, you can certainly install a hitch even though the truck doesn't have a bumper. If a 6000 lb towing/600 lb tongue weight capacity would work for you, I'd recommend the Curt Class III receiver hitch, part # 13028. If you'd like a hitch with a bit more capacity (which could be limited by the towing capacity of the truck if it's lower), the Curt Class IV hitch, part # C14082 is what I'd recommend.

The Curt # C14006 you'd looked at is a fit for 2014-2019 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500 models, and wouldn't fit your 1986 Chevy K10.
