Comparing Yakima Baseline and Skyline Towers on 2015 Mazda CX-5

Question:

i am comparing the yakima skyline towers with the baseline towers for my 2015 mazda cx-5. has no factory rails - has only a channel with fixed threaded points and an aluminum ditch cover that i can drill holes into as necessary deciding between the fixed point install of the skyline towers. with the clip-based install of the baseline towers. the deciding factor is simple: the one with the lower clearance overall, wins. i have limited height in my garage and need to choose the one that will be the lower overall clearance. so the question is - which install will yield the lower overall height? please note that i am also using round bar adapters to use with my older round bars from a previous install. thank you for your help!

When comparing the height of each option, the lowest Yakima Roof Rack for your vehicle consists of the Yakima RoundBar SL Adapter # Y03536 to utilize your previous Yakima round bars, the BaseLine Towers # Y28TR, the BaseClip Fit Kit # Y06130 and # Y06132. Overall this system will be about an inch shorter than the Skyline tower and base option.
