Correct Thule Fit Kit for a 2020 Honda Pilot With Bare Roof
Question:
Confirming I have kit 3132. And our roof is #1 - no existing rails. The instructions on your site say remove factory side rail plate At our rack dealer he tried to do that and didnt think it was supposed to come off. I guess he is wrong? Also once those plates are off, what is left exposed that they were covering on the roof? And will the fit kit come off completely when the rack comes off so I can put the rail plates back on the roof or do they stay off forever?

I checked with Thule and the correct fit kit for a 2020 Honda Pilot with bare roof (no flush or raised side rails) is part # TH79RV. The part # THKIT3132 is for models with flush side rails which have fixed mounting points within. The part # TH79RV must then be used with the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars part # TH710501.
