Can the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter Be Converted From Offset to Standard
Question:
If I dont need the off set can I discard the offset portion of this hitch. Just trying to avoid ordering 2 and having to pay restock charges

The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter comes in a standard version part # CAB-C5G and an offset version part # CAB-C5GX1216. The offset version cannot be adapted to the standard version and vice versa. If you have a short bed truck then most likely you'd need the offset version but if you have a long bed truck then you can go with the standard version. That said, it is always best to measure beforehand to confirm.
