Convert a Ball Adapter that Allows for More Clearance Between Bumper and RV

Question:

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500HD long bed. I just connected a convert a ball adapter to the RBW 7027 pin box on my 5th wheel and I only have 4-5 inches of clearance between the bumper and the RV. Can I adjust the pin box in any way to extend? Do I need and offset convert a ball instead of the standard? Thanks in advance.

The offset version of the Convert a Ball Adapter part # CAB-C5GX1216 would be what you would need to gain more clearance between the bumper and the RV as 4-5 inches is probably cutting it too close. This will give you an additional 7-1/2 inches of clearance here. There isn't a way to extend out what you currently have.
