Ground Clearance of Curt C13410 Class III Hitches
Question:
Can you tell me which of these two hitches offers better ground clearance than the other which hangs down the least distance below the bumper? Thanks!

That's a great question. We've installed the Curt # C13410 Class III trailer hitches on a 2018 Subaru Outback. We found the Curt hitch offers about 13 inches between the underside of the receiver and the ground. This hitch is a concealed design, with the crossbar concealed behind the vehicle bumper/fascia. The Curt is a great choice for your vehicle.
If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need a Tekonsha T-One harness, part # 118467, a ball mount like # C45010 with pin and clip # PC3 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
