What Could Cause RV Water Regulator to Lose Pressure Over Time
Question:
I have a Lance travel trailer and I have a 3 year old Valtera regulator. Do they go bad over time? The pressure is now unacceptably low when using the Valtera. I see you have a more expensive brand, would that be any different?

Expert Reply:
It's possible the regulator has gone bad over time or has gotten clogged. More likely it's gotten clogged if the pressure has been greatly reduced. The Valterra brand is a solid brand though. I wouldn't think twice about ordering a new one like # A01-1122VP or a JR regulator like the # 37204-62425 that you referenced.
