Will the Draw-Tite Hitch Class III Trailer Hitch Fit the 1999 F-150 Light Duty with Custom Exhaust
Question:
I have a 99 F-150 with split-rear custom exhaust that exits almost in line with the frame rails. Will this part fit my truck?

The Hidden Hitch Class III Trailer Hitch, part number 75065, will fit your 1999 F-150 but the custom exhaust may be in the way for installation. I can not make a recommendation on whether to purchase the hitch with the custom exhaust installed on your truck. I have posted links below to hitch, part number # 75065, installed on the 1999 F-150, with pictures, and to a video of a hitch installed on the 1999 F-250 and to the instructions for the hitch you selected. If you look at the pictures, video, instructions and under your truck you should be able to determine if the mounting location will be blocked by your custom exhaust. You may be able to install the hitch by lowering the exhaust, installing the hitch and then re-attaching the exhaust. All of the hitches for the 1999 F-150 use the same mounting location on the vehicle frame.
