Installing Draw-Tite Class III Receiver # 75751 on 2005 Mazda Tribute with Factory Receiver
Question:
Will I have to remove the factory 1.25 receiver hitch to install this or can I leave the factory hitch in place and add this product?

Expert Reply:
According to Draw-Tite, their Class III receiver, part # 75751 will indeed fit on a Mazda Tribute equipped with the OE hitch. You should not remove the factory hitch. In fact, they are typically welded in place and would be difficult to remove without damaging the structure of the vehicle.
As you can see in the diagram I provided, the Draw-Tite hitch # 75751 would sit below the factory hitch.
Draw-Tite specifically states that you should NOT use both hitches at the same time.
