Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack for Use Behind a 5th Wheel Toy Hauler Trailer
Question:
My 5th wheel toy hauler has a 2inch receiver on the cross frame that is flush with the back door of the the trailer. The handlebars on my bicycles are 32inch wide cruiser style. My concern is that the handlebar on the bike closed to the trailer will hit or rub on the back of the trailer. Spec sheet says 10.5inch from center of hitch pin hole to the first set of tire loops, so I estimate that there would be about 10.5inch to the center of the bike when the carrier is mounted. Will this work?

I do have a solution for you but there are only certain bike racks that can be used behind a trailer or RV and the Swagman XC, # S64650, is not compatible. I have included a link to the racks you can use. What I recommend is the Swagman XP, # S64940. With this rack you can adjust the cradles as needed to achieve the required clearance.
This rack measures 12-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar of the rack. By moving the cradles back a little, you should not have any problems with clearance. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
