Supplemental Braking Sytem and Wiring for Lights Towing 2019 Jeep JL Behind Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2019 Jeep Warngler JL 4dr and a 1999 Country Coach 40foot diesel pusher with air brakes. I have a blue OX tow bar and just purchased the DEMCO base plat and adapters. My next phase will be to get the supplemental braking system and wiring to do the turn signals/brake lights. What would you recommend? The Jeep has LED lights dont know if that makes a different.

For a supplemental braking system I recommend the Demco # SM99243 SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes. I have included a link to this product page and a link to a video tutorial that explains the installation.
For a lighting wiring harness I recommend the Roadmaster # RM-15267 Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit With the install of this wiring harness you will want a # RM-15625 Battery charge line kit. This will charge your towed vehicle's battery en-route so that it does not become drained operating lights and signals.
After you make your connections to the six-wire connector (but before replacing the boot) it makes good sense to use some dielectric grease # 11755 to keep moisture out of there.
