To tow a nearly 16000-lbs GVWR 5th wheel trailer you'd want at least a 16k 5th wheel hitch, but I think there's a lot of good reasons to go up to an 18k or even 21k hitch; it'll give you a little extra peace of mind that your hitch us up to the task of hauling your trailer, and allows you some flexibility to use the same hitch should you get a bigger trailer in the future.

The Curt A20 # C16140 that you were looking at will give you that extra capacity that I mentioned since it's rated for use with a trailer up to 20,000-lbs. The Curt A20 has a cushioned, double pivoting head to make for easier coupling with your 5th wheel trailer and the double locking jaw makes 360 degree contact to the king pin for added security.

If you can let me know what your tow vehicle is, I can help you locate the appropriate custom installation rail kit that you'll need to install in order to mount this hitch in your truck bed.
