Can Go Power Solar System and Generators be Used at the Same Time
Question:
I have an older Lance TT that does not have Solar. I am concerned that if I add a portable solar panel kit that connects directly to the battery, it might conflict with the trailers electrical controller when I have my generators running for use of microwave or a/c. Do I need to disconnect the solar system prior to turning on generators or shore power?

I reached out to the manufacturer, Go Power, who said the solar systems would not interfere and you would not need to disconnect the solar systems. They told me "There will be no interaction with the generator. The generator provides AC power to the appliances so totally separate from what the solar will do charging the batteries."
In regards to the correct system, there are three options for wattage:
- 90 Watts: Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller # 34282729
- 130 Watts: Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller # 34282730
- 200 Watts: Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller # 34282610
These systems have a 12 foot cable to go to the panels but in case you need to place it further away from your trailer to get the best sunlight I do recommend adding the 30 foot Extension Cable for Go Power Portable Solar Kit # 34270356.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well.
