The Fork Style Roof Mounted Bike Rack - Swagman Fork Down, # S64710, is designed to fit best with Thule (square bars) and most OEM factory cross bars (that run side to side). I spoke with my contact at Swagman and he stated that the width of the u-bolts used to secure the rack to the cross bars are 3-3/8 inches and it will best fit cross bars no wider than 3 inches. As long as your cross bars are under that, the rack will fit your Toyota 4Runner. I have included a link to the installation details also.
