Troubleshooting Furrion S Side Cameras with Clearance Lamp Function
Question:
Got set from you guys about 3-4 wks ago, finally got to the job this week, monitor mounted at upper w/s, where typical rearview lives, rear shark fin works great. mounted side cams, powered cams from clearance circuit, changed out 194 incandescent to led lamps work fine. both cams indicate paired on monitor after following procedures. assumption there is must have power or it would not pair monitor says no signal for either one. rear cam works fine left, right cams show paired on monitor, what am I missing here? thanks

When you say powered side lights of the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras # FCE48TASL-05 from clearance circuit, did you attach the trigger wire to that power circuit also or to the turn signal circuit? If you attached the trigger wire to the clearance power circuit as well, then your camera should be on at all times. If your trigger wire is attached to the turn signal circuit even though power comes from the clearance circuit then your camera view will only come on when the turn signal is activated on that side.
If you have them wired for constant 12 volt power for light and camera trigger wire to the clearance light circuit, then the monitor settings need to be adjusted because you stated they are paired. I've attached a video of the installation to assist.
