Will Yakima Full Swing Fit on 2019 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with Spare Tire?

Question:

Will this hitch allow me to clear the standard spare tire and required pin to tire measurements for a Yakima FullSwing? Right now the spare tire edge to pin is about 8.5” with standard Jeep Hitch. Much thanks for your help.

When we installed Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98856 on a 2019 Wrangler Unlimited, we found it was 8-1/2" from the hitch pin hole to the edge of our spare tire. I attached a picture below so you can see if it matches your own hitch. The Curt Trailer Hitch part # C13392 actually sits out even further and only needs 7.5" clearance. I attached a video below of the # e98856 review. They usually mention spare tire clearance midway through the video.

As for if the Yakima FullSwing # Y02465 will fit with your tire, the answer is Yes! The required bike rack clearance, from the hitch pin hole to the upward mast, is 15". From the hitch pin hole to the foot at the bottom is 9". I attached a picture below showing the clearance at the foot of the rack as well as a video so you can see it in action.
