Will a Demco Hijacker Autoslide Fit on Industry Standard Base Rails on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500HD

Question:

I was wondering if a Demco model 6077 super slide hitch is compatible with your 16100 rails. And would there be any new holes drilled for rails to frame of 2007 1500hd silverado classic.

The Demco Hijacker Auto Slide # DM8550034 is designed to fit in industry standard base rails like the Curt # C16100 you mentioned. Most above bed rail kits will require some drilling, but a universal rail kit is going to increase the amount of drilling and make for a more labor intensive installation. For that reason I do recommend using a custom rail kit for your 2007 Chevy Silverado like the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish # C16418-204, which will cut down on the labor during installation compared to the # C16100.
