Should Trunnion End on New Reese Spring Bars Be Loose and Move?
Question:
Should the trunnion end of a spring bar be loose and move around on a spring bar. Just bought 2 new ones and never noticed them being loose before. Bars are 800 to 1500 lbs.

The Replacement Trunnion Spring Bar for Reese Weight Distribution System - 1,500 lbs TW # RP58369 should have some movement. You can actually see a little movement when you check out the attached video. Under tension that will be firmed up and you won't notice movement.
