How to Determine Replacement for Warner Hub, Drum and Brakes
Question:
My trailer has a set of 12x2 warner brakes. If I purchase your AKEBR-6 can I use my old Warner hubs? See attached pictures

The old Warner hubs and drums aren't compatible with electric brakes as they don't have the proper shape to accept them. So you'll need to replace your hub and drum for new brakes.
To get the correct hub, you need to know the weight rating of your axle, and also what bearings your current hub has. You will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. If you are unable to find them, you need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure.
Additionally, you need to know your hub's wheel bolt pattern; if you do not know what it is I have added a help article which details how you can find it.
After that you can get the correct electric brake combination. For example, the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5,200 lb Axles # 8-201-5UC3 is 12" diameter x 2" wide, so as long as you have a 5-bolt brake mounting flange you could add the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-6.
I have added a link to our entire selection of hub and drums as well as electric brakes for you to come back to.
