Fit of Thule TH859XT Canyon XT Cargo Basket on 2018 HIghlander SE

Question:

Hi, Couple quick questions: Will this fit my Highlander SE with factory roof rack? Will I be able to use my moonroof with this Cargo basket attached? Can I mount this cargo basket forward enough so it doesnt hit the rear antenna? Thanks

The Thule Canyon XT # TH859XT Roof Cargo Basket will be compatible with the factory crossbar setup on your 2018 Toyota Highlander, as long as it can be adjusted so the bar spread is between 20 - 37 inches. The bracketry will extend approximately 2 inches toward the roof past the underside of the crossbars, so if the crossbars are positioned above the moonroof, it could possibly interfere. You can determine if this is the case by measuring 2 inches downward from the crossbar underside to see if the moonroof would clear. From all the photos I've seen of the 2018 Highlander, it appears that the rear shark-fin antenna isn't any taller than the crossbars, so having the basket hit the antenna won't be a problem.
