Can Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller fit 2000 Dodge Dakota with 4-Way to 7-Way Adapter

Hello, I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota with a 4 pin setup. I do have a 4 pin to 7 pin conversion kit, not installed yet. If I installed the 7 pin conversion kit, would this device be essentially plug and play with my app and trailer brakes?

If the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 7-way adapter is active the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 will work totally fine with your 2000 Dodge Dakota. If you need to activate the circuit of the adapter you'd need 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 and a circuit breaker part # 9510.
