Troubleshooting Stoplight Circuit of Trailer Wiring Not Functioning

trying to wire tow wire to 08 winnebago view everything works have brake signal but no brake light out of control

If you have the other lighting functions of the Hopkins 4-way part # HM48895 working but not the brake lights and you have checked that the red wire of the converter is getting voltage the first thing I would try is improving the ground of the converter box. If that doesn't fix the problem it would have to be that the converter box is bad. Also make sure you you are checking the pins of the 4-way with a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the pins of the 4-way so that you know for sure the problem is the 4-way and not the trailer wiring.
