Troubleshooting Brake Controller Install of 2007 GMC Sierra Where Wiring Isn't Active
Question:
I have a Tekonsha Voyager brake controller and I bought the factory plug in 3015 s but I have no power to the brake controller there is power to the red wire when I hit the brake. I also tested the pens that the adapter plugs into and there is only one hot pain so assuming it goes to the red wire

There are a few connections that need to be made under the hood of your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic for the brake controller wiring to be active. If you check out the install video and help article link I attached to this page you can see exactly how to activate the wiring.
