Recommended 4.80-12 Tires for a Fiber Stream Camper Trailer

Question:

Hi - I am looking for tires and rims for my vintage 1984 FIber Stream camper trailer. Currently, it has mismatched 4.80-12 4-post 12inch tires. These were cheap farminch tires. I want to have something a little better. Should I look at Bias or Radial? Do you have recommendations on what would be right for me for replacement tires? I need 4 tires, tandem axle. The trailer weighs 1700 lbs, unloaded.

The Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Wheel part # AM30540 is my recommendation for a Fiber Stream Camper Trailer. This is a pre-mounted combo that comes ready to mount on the trailer. It comes with a bias ply tire which will be fine for this trailer and the only option for this size pre-mounted. It will also have plenty of capacity for the weight without going over and causing a rough ride. They are both (tire/wheel) backed by warranties as well.
