Recommended SUP Carrier for VW Crossbars with Tracks

Question:

Can carriers with universal attachment gadgets be used on crossbars with T slots, such as this Yakima? I recently ordered an OEM roof rack with T slot crossbars from VW for a new 2020 Jetta with a panoramic sunroof before locating this site looking for a SUP carrier. I am concerned about voiding the new vehicle warranty for a non-VW rack, but already own Thule and Yakima universal attaching carriers and need a SUP carrier. Thnx!

It sounds like you are looking for an SUP carrier that is compatible with the factory VW crossbars with tracks and if that is the case we have some great options, the Thule SUP Taxi XT Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier part # TH810001 which uses universal warp around style clamps is what I recommend and there won't be any issues with the integrated tracks.
