Recommended Ball Mount for 2017 Range Rover

Question:

Hi, I had an OEM trailer hitch installed on my 2017 Full Size Range Rover. Does it require an extra long ball mount or is a standard length ok? Thanks!

As long as the OEM hitch receiver is not placed drastically behind the bumper, a standard ball mount like the one that comes with the Curt Starter Towing Kit # C45534 will work just fine. Your best bet is to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole on the hitch to the edge of the bumper and determine what that measurement it. If it's more than 5" or so, you're going to need a slightly extended ball mount like the Brophy # BM20 that you were looking at.

From what I was able to find by searching for some photos of your 2017 Land Rover Range Rover, it looks like a fairly standard hitch placement, so it doesn't appear that you'd need any type of extended ball mount. I do recommend that you take some measurements just to check.
