Wiring Replacement Taillight on 2006 Crossroad 5th Wheel Trailer  

Question:

Have 5th trailer crossroad 2006 .need to replace y taillights from back there is a black, white, red wire. new light has white to ground screw , green, and. black wire. how do I connect wires.

Typically, the black wire on the 5th wheel would carry the running light circuit, the white wire would be ground, and the red wire would be for the turn signal/brake lamp. The best practice would be to confirm this by using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993. You can test the wires exiting the 5th wheel as each taillight function is activated in order to confirm which color wire serves which function.

The brown or black wire on the # STL8RB carries the running lights, the white wire is the ground, and the green wire carries the brake/turn signal.
