Adding Electric Brakes to 3,500 lb Axles of LOOK Trailer  

Question:

Hi, I want to install the electric drum brakes to LOOK Enclosed single Axle trailer below. 3,500lb Spring axle. Do you have a whole brake kit for this trailer? Im waiting your reply. Thanks!!

For 3,500 lb axles you will use 10 inch assemblies. My recommendation is the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA. These assemblies will work well for your axles. If you don't already have the hub/drum assemblies, then I recommend using the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3.5K E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K.

This combination will work well and if you are adding brakes for the first time then you will just run # 10-1-1 wiring to each assembly. I've attached an article to assist.
