Replacement Gooseneck Hitch Towing Options For Venture CJ13517 Pin Box

I Have a 2019 Sierra HD Deisel Truck with a long bed. Just purchased a 2005 Lakota by mekenzie 5th wheel the pin box is stamped with CJ 135 17 and GVWR 17000. What is needed to use add a goosebox?

Your 5th wheel is equipped with a Venture CJ13517 pin box, and unfortunately there isn't a Goose Box that's compatible.
Since your truck has a gooseneck hitch, we do have some possible options that would work for you. If your existing gooseneck is a B&W Turnover Ball, the B&W Companion, part # BWRVK3500-5W is what I'd recommend using. A more universal option would be the Demco Recon, part # DM8550045 would be an excellent choice. The Recon would mount in your existing gooseneck hitch by attaching to the 2-5/16 gooseneck hitch ball.
