Is Weight Distribution Capacity of Brophy Hitch Extender HR26 Refer to Equal-i-zer System
Question:
I want a 2.5x7inch hitch extension when towing my 28foot travel trailer 10,160 GVW using my 2019 Chev 3500 Duramax, like the one above. I use an Equalizer weight distribution hitch when towing. Is this the extender I would use, or is there another product that is stronger? I watch the video on this product and it describes exactly what I want, but Im concerned about the extra 160 lbs. and their definition of a weight distribution hitch. I want to make sure that my Equalizer hitch is what they are referring to as a weight distribution hitch?

Your Equal-i-zer weight distribution system is the type of weight distribution that the hitch extender part # HR26 is designed to work with and have the higher 1,000 lbs of tongue weight capacity.
