The Curt Cargo Carrier # C18151 is a little narrow in my opinion, you'll be able to get most if not all of the body of the deer in there but 20" wide seems to be a bit small. If it's a decent size buck or a large bodied doe I think a 24 x 60 cargo carrier will be your best bet and I always hope to shoot a monster so may as well get a large carrier just in case! I would hate to loose a good deer on the road and bruise up all the meat.
Our eTrailer cargo carrier # e98874 is a better size for what you need and can tilt like the Curt you're looking at. It also has more of a rise in the shank so if you're driving out into the field to grab your game, it's less likely that you'll bottom out since your 2020 Chevrolet Traverse sits sort of low to the ground. It has a powder-coated finish so once you get your deer gutted and hung up, you can just rinse the carrier off with a hose and it'll be good to go for many fall seasons.
Our Carrier is basically the same as the curt, just a bit bigger and a more cost effective option. So it's more bang for your BUCK, if you know what I mean!
