Can this bike or others that are hitch mounted, frame held, racks compatible with a step thru bike without a substitute. cross bar?

The Swagman Dispatch 2 Bike Platform Rack part # S44FR is a great bike rack option for bikes with step through frames. The dual hooks have different lengths allowing for the proper hold of bikes with the same frame types because they will lock down anywhere along the upright mast.
