Will My Hitch Ball Fit the Curt Class II Round Tube Trailer Hitch on my 2004 Pontiac Vibe
Question:
Does this hithch come with a hitch-ball? I already have a U-haul hitch-ball I bought for a 91 jeep cherokee. Can I use it with this hitch? On the metal bar is stamped: V-5 U-haul Max load 3500 lb Tongue wt 350 lb On top of the ball is stamped: U-Haul 2 5000lb

The, 12234, Curt Class II Round Tube Trailer Hitch Receiver comes with a drawbar, pin and clip but does not come with the hitch ball. As long as the ball you have has a 3/4 inch diameter shank you will be able to install it on the drawbar included with this hitch. If your ball has a 1 inch diameter shank you will need to purchase a new hitch ball for your Class II hitch.
If you have a different draw bar you should remove the ball from it and use it on the new drawbar because all Class II trailer hitches are tested and rated with the specific ball mount for that hitch. Using a ball mount that is not recommended by the manufacturer will void the warranty.
I have posted links below to our best selling 3/4 inch shank hitch balls for you.
