How to install brake light really on 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and find the cold wire from the break

If your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a factory 7-way at the rear of it the only thing you'd need to install the P2 part # 90885 is the correct install harness part # TK93VR which plugs right in under the dash.
But if instead you were hardwiring the brake controller to your vehicle as you didn't have a 7-way you'd need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires that lead to the brake switch until you find one that has voltage only when the pedal is applied. This would be correct circuit to use for brake controller's red wire.
