Do I Need An Adapter Bar For A Womens Bike When Using The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE4?

Im not sure if this was mentioned in the videos or questions but does this rack require an adapter for a womans bike? Also, would the Hollywood Racks sport Rider SE4 platform rack be a good fit for a 2017 Volvo XC90?

Yes, typically women's, children's and alternative frame bikes need an adapter bar like one Swagman makes # 64005. The adapter is needed for both hanging and platform style racks like the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE4 # HR1400Z. The Sport Rider SE4 will work with your 2017 Volvo XC90 if you have a class III hitch like the Curt Class III # C13233. If you don't have a hitch, you can get the class III Curt and I've included an install video for you to see how it installs. If you have a hitch and it's not a Class III or higher, let me know and I can get you set up with the right back rack for whatever class hitch you have currently!
